Earlier, I had the opportunity to run the Facebook Live feed for a regional livestock showdown, known as, DMACC BEARdown. This showdown is hosted by instructors and students of the Agribusiness program from Des Moines Area Community College. The competition brings the Champions from seven counties together and showcases the talent, devotion, and effort of the 4-H and FFA members.

The show was divided into breeding doe, ewe, gilt, and heifer. Followed by market goats, sheep, hogs, and cattle.

Champions selected today will advance to the All-Iowa Showdown on August 5!
